Purpose of data processing
The Controller processes:
Personal data provided by the User, including identifying and contact details (e.g., name, surname, postal address, email address, phone number).
Processing purposes
Data will be processed lawfully and fairly for the following purposes:
- To contact the User and respond to any requests submitted via the data collection forms available on the website (Article 6, letter b) GDPR);
- To fulfill legal and fiscal obligations applicable to the Controller (Article 6, letter c) GDPR);
- To pursue the legitimate interests identified by the Controller, based on a balancing of interests analysis (Article 6, letter f) GDPR);
- Where necessary, to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim;
Mandatory or optional provision of data
Providing data is necessary to access requested services. The provision of data and consent for marketing purposes (letter f in the previous section) is optional; however, refusal to consent will prevent the User from receiving commercial communications regarding the products and services.
Additionally, the User is reminded that such consent can be revoked at any time.
Processing methods
The processing of personal data involves operations specified in Article 4, no. 2 of the GDPR, including but not limited to: collection, registration, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, retrieval, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, erasure, and destruction of data. Personal data is processed both on paper and electronically and/or through automated systems.
Data retention
Personal data collected for the purposes outlined in this notice will be retained only for as long as strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected and in compliance with applicable legal provisions; data will be retained until consent for marketing purposes is withdrawn. After this period, the data will be deleted or anonymized.
Access to data and communication of data
The User’s personal data may be accessed by:
i) employees and/or collaborators of the Controller, authorized to process data and/or act as system administrators;
ii) service providers performing outsourced activities on behalf of the Controller, acting as external processors or sub-processors performing tasks related to, instrumental to, or supportive of the Controller’s activities, such as website content management, customer support, etc.

The Controller may also disclose the User’s data to third parties (Public Authorities, Police Forces, or other public and private entities) solely for the purpose of fulfilling contractual, legal, and/or EU regulatory obligations.
Data transfer
No data transfers outside the EU or to international organizations are planned. Should such transfers occur, the Controller will implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
User rights
Pursuant to Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR, Users may exercise their rights at any time, including:
- Right of Access (Article 15, GDPR)
- Right to Rectification (Article 16, GDPR)
- Right to Erasure (Article 17, GDPR)
- Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18, GDPR)
- Right to Data Portability (Article 20, GDPR)
- Right to Object (Article 21, GDPR)
When applicable, the Think As a Dev team will inform third parties to whom the User’s personal data has been disclosed of any exercise of rights by the User, except in cases where this is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort relative to the protected right.
Exercise of rights
The User may modify or revoke their consent and exercise the rights mentioned above at any time by submitting a request to the Controller at thinkasadev@gmail.com.
For the data processing covered by this notice, the User also has the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it)
